The Software Engineer is responsible for working with Aptys internal personnel to design and build Aptys products for use by Aptys customers and their customers as applicable. The Software Engineer also works with internal Aptys personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the Aptys products and services in both customer and Aptys environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Support Manager is responsible for managing customer support and the team that provides technical support to Aptys customers and Aptys internal personnel. This support includes but is not limited to working with both Aptys customers and Aptys internal personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the hardware and software used by the Aptys products and services in both customer and Aptys environments. The Technical Support Manager is one of the primary “faces of Aptys” to our customers and prospects and performs both management and support tasks as part of their regular job responsibilities.

 

The Technical Support Manager will be required to work under pressure to resolve customer production issues and meet project deadlines. The person in this role must be able to direct the activities of other team members with a clear understanding of Aptys priorities. This person must be self-motivated with the ability to work in cross-functional team environments or independently, as needed. The Technical Support Manager will possess strong organization skills, strong communication (written and verbal) skills, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to follow standard processes and procedures.

 

The person in this role must also be willing to work non-standard hours when needed for projects, upgrades, and customer issues.
